Standard Quotation for Simultaneous Interpretation

Simultaneous Interpretation: A group of two interpreters is arranged for simultaneous interpretation generally and in special case a group of three will be arranged.

Notes

1. Simultaneous interpretation service for large international conference has to be appointed one or two weeks in advance.
2. Working hours for simultaneous interpretation lasts for eight hours a day. Fractions less than four hours shall be counted as half a day (50% of the price for a whole day) and fractions more than four hours, but less than eight hours shall be counted as one day. Extra-work for more than one hour shall be charged by hours.
3. An extra payment of 20% for traveling business shall be charged. And the customer shall pay for transportation, room and board, and safety of interpreters.
4. Best infra-red simultaneous interpretation equipment will be leased with technical support.

To ensure the quality of interpretation, the following procedures shall be carried out:

1 . Suitable interpreters will be selected in light of the customer's work content and requirement based on the principle of Linguistic Expert + Technical Expert= Interpretation Expert.
2 . Only qualified interpreters who have passed our interviews can be assigned work.
3 . Resume of interpreters and relevant cases is available upon request. Telephone interviewing interpreters can be arranged for technical interpretation.
